Seth celebrated his first birthday December 4th by climbing the stairs in our new house, having 2 too short naps, a major diaper blow out and almond cupcakes. (Not a traditional dessert for a child, but that's what his mom felt like making.) Samuel gave him 6 presents after breakfast - things he had found around the house or crafted. He can take 10 steps or so when he feels like it, but his preferred methods of transport are the crawl and the carry. He ate his whole cupcake.
